The San Diego Safari Park is an 1800-acre wildlife sanctuary that is home to 3000 animals from 300 species and was created to give animals more space to roam more freely.

I do recommend doing both because they are different and both are great attractions. Also, they are both non-profits so your admission and money spend in both parks are going to help animals worldwide!

I personally liked the Safari Park a bit better, BUT they were both great. I highly recommend doing both, and doing them on separate days, but understand if it’s not feasible to do both.
