California Science Center

Inspire a lot of science to kids of all ages at the California Science center. Engage with hands-on exhibits on topics ranging from ecosystems to space exploration!

General Admission is FREE! Imax and special exhibits may have an additional fee, but the permanent galleries are free!

Griffith Observatory and Griffith Park

Griffith Park, one of the largest urban parks in North America, and is also home to the Griffith Observatory where kids of all ages can look through telescopes, explore exhibits and enjoy the planetarium!

Admission to the observatory is free but the planetarium is an extra fee.

Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County

Discover dinosaurs, experience the nature gardens, and explore the insect zoo. This Natural History museum is fun and educational for all ages.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Spend a day (or several!) at Universal Studios Hollywood with so many fun attractions and “lands” to discover! Super Nintendo World is definitely on our list!

Tickets start at $109 per person but sometimes discounts are available.

Head to “The Happiest Place on Earth,” with fun amusement rides, parades, shows and more for children of all ages!

Ticket prices start at $104 per person, but ticket pricing is based on demand. Children under 3 are free.

Los Angeles Zoo

Located in Griffith Park, the zoo features a wide variety of animals, including elephants, gorillas, and exotic birds and covers 133 acres!

Tickets are $22 per adult and $17 for children ages 2-12. Children under 2 are free. Some discounts and offers are available.

Aquarium of the Pacific

Located on Long Beach, this aquarium is a great aquarium to discover marine life from Pacific Ocean with interactive exhibits, touch tanks, live shows and more! Also, a lot of the aquarium is outside and has a small outdoor water playground for kids!

Admission is $44.95 and $29.95 for children ages 3-11. Reservations required on weekends and holidays.

Kidspace Children’s Museum

Located in Pasadena, this museum is specifically designed for children under 10, with plenty of hands-on exhibits and a large outdoor play area too!

Admission is $15.50 per person for ages 1 and up. No cash is accepted.

The Getty Center

Enjoy incredible art collections and stunning architecture at The Getty Center. There’s also stunning views inside and out to make this a great stop for visitors of all ages!

Free admission but a timed-entry reservation is required. Parking fees may apply.
